This money clip was inspired in by a design of Frank Lloyd Wright. Max Hoffman was a European automobile importer for whom Frank Lloyd Wright designed a home in 1957. The floating intersecting circles and Taliesin Square logo was the carpet design for the living room of the Hoffman residence.
